I have a Canon 60Da with the CD, but my computer has no CD reader. So, of course, I cannot install the EOS Utility. I have my serial number. Therefore, I was looking for the image of the CD or, at least, the EOS Digital Solution Disk Software, allegedly available in Canon websites. The limited warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. ('Canon USA') with respect to Canon Consumer Digital Video Equipment (the 'Equipment') purchased in the United States. This limited warranty is only effective upon presentation of your Bill of Sale or other proof of purchase. Hi to Mac users: The 'Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk v28.2' that came with my S3IS was useless for me, because it was not recognized on our Macs. Canon support said, I have to turn it in via dealer for replacement. One month later I got the replacement CD from my dealer - only this CD doesn't work either ... a bit strange! I have the older Solution Disk v26 from my A620 and it runs without any problem on the Macs. That's why I think the v28.2 should run too. Is there a Mac user who can confirm this? Thanks in advance! If the V.26 disc runs, just install from it (if you haven't already) and go to Canon's website to install the upgraded versions they have available for download. Thanks Jon! Yes, I kept my software from the A620 updated. No big problem so far, only I don't know if possibly something else or new is on the newer CD.
