The following process describes how to configure uTorrent to automatically stop sharing once a download has completed (otherwise known as ‘hit and run’).
Utorrent Download Free Mac
So basically I'll have like 40 torrents open in uTorrent at once. I have it set so that only 2 are ever active, 1 downloading and 1 seeding. The rest are in the queue. My internet has been slow lately, and a friend saw my uTorrent and said that even if they are in queue they are using up bandwidth, but I'm not so sure? If you are the only leecher that means no one else is downloading the torrent. That means there is no one to upload to and nothing is going to help that. If you need help with your ratio i would suggest hopping on a few freeleech packs (only upload is counted) and seeding those. If you want to know the actual rate of upload and download of your line, compute it from Speedtest. This way you can verify that the speed of your uTorrent is below the actual speed of your line, and you will know for sure that you are having problems with uTorrent. Anyway, the download speed of uTorrent depends on many factors.
Utorrent Stop Uploading
Please note: This sort of behaviour is discouraged with file SHARING communities.
